Sometimes, choosing the right styles of bathroom curtains can become quiet a tedious task. Fortunately, different markets offer different styles of curtains that can be just right for the bathroom, providing a wide array to choose from. Of course, this can often make for a harder decision-making process. The options are endless, with all the patterns, colors and so on and can make this fun thought-of task more of a daunting experience. Fortunately, investigating different styles and patterns ahead of time will help choosing the right type of curtain to co-ordinate with your bathroom.
Make sure you use the information from your investigating work to help you choose the right patterns and styles. Sometimes, just by going online or taking a jaunt through the store will help give you an idea of the different options to choose from. By getting a visual idea of what you want to choose will help you discover your preference for patterns and designs.
Ceiling Mount Bracket
After you choose the patterns and styles, you will then want to pick out the right colors for your bathroom. The easiest way to do this is by making sure that the colors you pick match your current bathroom style on your walls, rugs or carpet, doors, windows, etc.
You want to make sure that you fit the curtain in correctly. In order to do so, measure the window where you will hang the curtain. You may use a regular measuring gauge for the purpose. First, measure the window lengthwise and then measure widthwise, beginning at the fabric's center. If you are making your own curtain, you may want to measure all the way across for both the length and the width. Be sure to leave some room for any seams you have not sewn. The seams need to be approximately a half to a quarter inch.
The hooks and rings on the curtain you will use, will help to hang the curtains. Just like choosing from a different style of curtains, you will also be able to choose from several different styles of rods, hooks and rings. You may want to make sure that the rod you choose matches the style of the curtain, including the hooks and rings you decide to use.
You can choose from the maple rods to the round pine rods. The rods themselves will provide a different sense of stylish appearance to your bathroom.
Next, it is time to install your new curtains. This is not difficult so do not feel as if you need to shy away. You may want to use a tape measure to figure the distance to the ceiling. When you do this, start on both sides of the curtain. Once you make your measurements, mark your spots by using a pencil. Artisan pencils work very well for this. Doing so provides a point where you can go back to so you can remember where to drill the mounting holes. You have the option to choose a common type of bracket to mount everything. The next step is to simply hang the curtains.
Once you begin measuring, be sure to measure the width of the window length. Jot down the measurements so you do not forget the information. Additional options to add to the look of your curtain include valances, shades or additional home accents (pillows, etc.) to help enhance the appearance inside and outside of the bathroom. If you choose to hang curtains that are designed with flowers, you might want to consider include a corner stand. If you do this, you can place a vase that is filled with flowers to enhance the look of the curtains to help coordinate. Feel free to also add other decoration such as baskets, perfumes, soaps or toiletries.
If you are not large on the curtains in the bathroom, try installing blinds. Window blinds provide a more natural feel and look to the atmosphere of the bathroom, not to mention that they are easy to wash. For those of you with a loved one who is disabled, different shower doors might be an option to provide ease and security.
